- Unstable cardiac angina;
- stable cardiac angina;
- primary preventive treatment of acute myocardial infarction given risk factors (such as diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, arterial hypertension, obesity, smoking, advanced age) and myocardial reinfarction;
- preventive treatment of ischemic stroke (including patients with transitory ischemic attack);
- preventive treatment of transitory ischemic attack;
- preventive treatment of thromboembolism occurring after operations and invasive interventions on blood vessels (such as CABG surgery or endarterectomy of carotid arteries, arteriovenous bypassing surgery, angioplasty of carotid arteries);
- preventive treatment of deep venous thrombosis and thromboembolism of pulmonary artery and its branches (e.g. in prolonged immobilization being a result of a serious surgical intervention).
- In unstable cardiac angina (with a suspicion of acute myocardial infarction) starting dose is 100−300 mg (the first tablet is to be chewed for better absorption) is to be taken as soon as possible right after there is a suspicion of acute myocardial infarction development. In the course of the next 30 days after the development of myocardial infarction, the dosage is to be 200−300 mg per day;
- in the primary preventive treatment of acute myocardial infarction given risk factors: 100 mg per day or 300 mg every other day;
- in the preventive treatment of myocardial reinfarction, unstable and stable cardiac angina, preventive treatment of ischemic stroke and transitory ischemic attack, preventive treatment of thromboembolism occurring after operations and invasive interventions on blood vessels: 100−300 mg a day;
- in the preventive treatment of deep venous thrombosis and thromboembolism of pulmonary artery and its branches: 100−200 mg a day or 300 mg every other day.
